Veritas Education is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Support Assistants to work within a range of secondary schools across Wakefield.

The Role As a 1:1 Support Assistant, you will: Provide dedicated support to an individual student throughout the school day.
Assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and learning difficulties.
Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement support strategies.
Build positive and trusting relationships with students to encourage personal and academic progress.
Support students with both classroom learning and social development.
