This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about food, nutrition, and practical learning.
The successful candidate will join a well-established Design & Technology department and inspire students to develop essential culinary skills, creativity, and knowledge of healthy living.
The Role
- Teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
- Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress.
- Creating a safe and positive learning environment within the food technology classroom.
- Promoting high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
- Contributing to the wider life of the department and school.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food education.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
