This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.

The school is looking for a teacher who can bring Biology to life, encourage scientific curiosity, and support students in achieving excellent outcomes.

The Role

As a Biology Teacher, you will

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for science and scientific enquiry.
  • Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider Science Department and school community.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance.
  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Biology within a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to raising student attainment and achievement.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
