We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in West Drayton on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Biology Teacher, Chemistry Teacher, or Physics Teacher looking for a rewarding new role in a supportive school environment. The school supports students aged 11-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and provides a structured, nurturing setting where students can achieve both academically and personally.

Science Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach a broad Science curriculum including Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum
  • Support students with SEMH, SEND, and additional behavioural needs
  • Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and positive learning environments
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs and leadership teams
  • Follow safeguarding and school compliance procedures

Candidate Requirements:

  • QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
