We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large thriving primary school in Leeds. They are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school that places inclusion, aspiration and excellence at the heart of everything it does. About the Role

No two days are the same. You will play a key role in supporting teachers and pupils within the classroom, working with children from a wide range of cultural, linguistic and educational backgrounds. The role may involve:

  • Supporting teaching and learning in EYFS, KS1 and Lower KS2 classrooms
  • Delivering interventions and small group support
  • Working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Supporting children who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL)
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement
  • Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children, either in schools, nurseries, coaching, youth work or similar settings
