Veritas Education is working with a number of specialist schools and alternative provisions across the Guildford area who are seeking committed and resilient SEMH/SEN Teachers to join their teams. The Role

  • You will be working within specialist settings supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and other complex learning needs.
  • Teaching responsibilities may vary depending on the provision, but will typically include:
    • Delivering differentiated lessons across KS2–KS4 (subject specialism welcome)
    • Supporting students working below age-related expectations
    • Managing behaviour using consistent, trauma-informed approaches
    • Creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
    • Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience teaching within SEN, SEMH or alternative provision settings
