The school is seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with young learners with complex needs. You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), assisting with sensory learning, communication, regulation and, where appropriate, personal care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting children with SEN, including complex needs and/or PMLD (education or care settings)
- A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
- Confidence supporting learning, behaviour regulation and emotional needs
- A current DBS on the Update Service (we can support if required)
