Veritas Education is partnering with primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Southwest London to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to make a real difference supporting students with special educational needs and learning difficulties. These are full-time, term‑time positions, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
We are looking for candidates with experience supporting students in an educational setting, particularly those with SEN or additional needs. A solid understanding of SEN and learning difficulties—gained through professional experience or academic study—is highly desirable.
Responsibilities of the SEN Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
- Work proactively to help students meet their academic goals.
- Encourage and motivate students to actively engage in their learning.
- Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the teacher in general learning and student development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A strong understanding of special educational needs (SEN).
