We're looking for dedicated SEN Classroom Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in specialist and mainstream school settings. SEN Classroom Assistant Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, engagement, and classroom participation
- Promoting emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
- Assisting teachers in creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Building strong relationships with pupils to encourage progress and achievement
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people is essential. Candidates should have a patient, resilient, and proactive approach, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, and experience supporting SEN, SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs is advantageous. This role is ideal for aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Youth Workers.
