We’re working with a specialist SEMH all through school (Primary and Secondary) in Orpington that is urgently looking for a confident, resilient SEMH Teacher to join their team.
The school supports students with SEMH needsteaching them in a structured and nurturing setting.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a SEMH Teacher who enjoys working closely with small groups and making a genuine difference to pupils who require tailored learning approaches.
What you'll be doing as a SEMH Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support pupils with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider school team.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews.
What we need from you
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience with SEMH, PRU, youth work, or similar
- A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
- Available from September
