Location: Preston/ Longridge

Salary: GBP14.24 - GBP15.24 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 8:30am- 15:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one‑on‑one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teaching staff.
  • Use behaviour management and de‑escalation strategies.
  • Apply knowledge of the National Curriculum to support students with their learning.
  • Maintain an optimistic outlook and determination to make a difference to children’s education.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience or strong interest in working with SEN students.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to attend a registration interview.
  • Subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and overseas police clearances where applicable.
  • Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any employment gaps explained.
