We're looking for dedicated SEN Classroom Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in specialist and mainstream school settings. SEN Classroom Assistant Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, engagement, and classroom participation
- Promoting emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
- Assisting teachers in creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Building strong relationships with pupils to encourage progress and achievement
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Experience supporting SEN, SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs is advantageous
- Ideal for aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Youth Workers
