We are currently working with a mainstream secondary school who are looking for a Science Teaching Assistant to work in the subject departments and this will run for the entire academic year. Situated in a West London location, close to a tube and a train station and plenty of local bus routes. The school is based on the outskirts of London, with open spaces, various new facilities and a wider school community.

The role will entail supporting mathematics and the three sciences. You will also be expected to support children with learning needs/special educational needs. A lot of the TAs who work there go on to be teachers. The school offers a variety of continued professional development and training throughout the year.

Key skills and experience needed:
  • University degree in mathematics, accounting, biology, chemistry, physics or other related subjects.
  • Previous support work within a school or other child-related experience.
  • Professional manner.
  • Enthusiasm and friendly approach.
