The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes progress and achievement.
- Monitor and support student attainment, providing targeted interventions where necessary.
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and academic success.
- The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and helping young people achieve their full potential.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
