Veritas Education is partnering with schools in West London to recruit dedicated and adaptable Graduate Teaching Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, supporting students’ learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Roles are full-time, term-time only, and available to start as soon as possible.
Location: West London (Hillingdon)
Start date: ASAP and September 2026
Compensation: £107-120 per day
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and pastoral support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Support learning in core subjects, including Maths and English
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Encourage students to engage actively in lessons and reach their academic goals
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management, and pupil development
Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in any subject area
- A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
- Experience working with children or young people (e.g., in schools, tutoring, youth work, or mentoring)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A proactive and reliable team player, able to work collaboratively and independently
