Veritas Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded and inclusive primary school in the Rossendale area to recruit an experienced and dedicated EYFS SEN Teacher for September 2026. The school are specifically seeking a teacher with strong SEND experience who can lead and deliver tailored support for pupils within the Early Years setting who present with a range of complex additional needs. This role would suit a passionate SEN practitioner who understands how to create a nurturing, structured, and highly adapted learning environment that enables children with additional needs to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highly adapted teaching for pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Support children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Moderate to severe learning difficulties
- Create a calm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
- Develop and implement EHCP targets and individual support strategies
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, parents, and external agencies
- Use a child-centred approach to remove barriers to learning and development
