Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics preferred.
  • Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • A creative approach to lesson planning and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
