Are you a passionate and creative Drama Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026 until December 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students through engaging and imaginative Drama lessons while also delivering a small timetable of English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Drama lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Teach a small number of English lessons as part of the timetable.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the wider English and Performing Arts departments.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
- Confident delivering English lessons across Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.
- Is passionate about inspiring young people and supporting their academic and personal development.
- Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
