Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with several secondary schools in the Burnley area who are seeking dedicated and passionate Maths Teachers to start in September. We have multiple temporary opportunities available, including both short‑term cover and longer‑term placements. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers or experienced instructors to teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 within supportive and well‑established school environments.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
