Senior BuyerVerisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Senior Buyer . The role will be part of a growing and talented Procurement Team and will report directly to the UK Indirect Procurement Manager. This is a critical role that will contribute to enhancing the procurement function for indirect categories in our UK Headquarter. The role is based in London.

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for executing the indirect procurement function in the UK Headquarter for the assigned categories. He/she will collaborate, support and influence business leaders and stakeholders across the whole P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation to purchase order.
This will include contributing to a Procurement Plan to maximise advantages for the Company, drafting the sourcing strategy for each category under his/her responsibility, leading execution of tenders (from drafting of specifications to award and contract signature), influencing stakeholders to define and standardise their requirements, while ensuring compliance with Procurement processes and policy.
Responsibilities
Execution of the Procurement Plan on categories under his/her responsibility, maximizing savings in the organisation
Collaborate, support and influence across the whole P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation to purchase order
Execute tenders (RFPs), negotiate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and conduct supplier qualification and selection
Ensure process and policy compliance
Gather specifications of products and services required by business areas
Draft contracts, and negotiate agreements with suppliers in coordination with Legal counsel and internal stakeholders
Lead market and spend analysis
Develop solutions that meet the organisation\’s needs and results
Identify and anticipate issues in the execution of projects, identify and implement solutions, and escalated as required
Identify risks and escalated them to Manager
Follow risk mitigation actions & processes defined
Manage issues with suppliers, monitor and periodically evaluate agreements and supplier performance in line with the scope of services agreed
Propose and lead improvements in the Procurement department, processes and policies
Report as needed on all areas of responsibility
Lead procurement conversations with suppliers as needed
Lead conversations with business areas to communicate, influence, present and discuss the results of each stage of negotiation
Advise the business on the supplier(s) to be selected and criteria
Be a communication channel between business and suppliers
Represent the business position with the suppliers to obtain the most appropriate proposals for the internal client
Communicate results and progress of negotiations
Candidate profileExperiences and qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant experience sourcing autonomously indirect products and services, as part of a procurement team in a large organisation. Among other categories: Facilities Management, Utilities, Events, Communication and Brand, Online & Offline Marketing, Contact Center, Human Resources, Professional services, Logistics, Financial services, etc
Worked in a large and cross‐functional procurement team, ideally within a high‐growth environment
University Degree is a plus
Ideally, but not essential, CIPS qualified or working towards (preferred)
Advanced level on Microsoft Office. In particular Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with eProcurement tools (Jaggaer, Ariba, etc.) and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
