About the role: The Sales Performance Manager leads one of the most strategically important departments in Verisure UK. This role owns the design, governance, and optimisation of everything related to sales performance management including commissions creation, sales KPIs, dashboards, incentive schemes, commercial challenges, and product/proposition performance tracking. The position combines strong analytical capability with business leadership. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to our leadership teams, ensuring that commercial decisions are data-driven, incentive structures are aligned with business objectives and performance visibility is accurate & reliable.
As Sales Performance Manager you are responsible for ensuring that our £6 Million in yearly sales commissions lead to the best return on investment, in the form of best sales performance and the creation of a stronger and bigger sales structure.
What you will do:
- Commission & Incentive Strategy Ownership: Design, implement, and continuously optimise sales commission structures aligned with company growth objectives. Ensure accurate calculation, validation, and governance of commissions. Lead the modelling and impact assessment of new commission schemes and incentive programs. Design and launch commercial challenges and motivational campaigns.
- Sales Performance Steering & KPIs: Own the definition and governance of sales KPIs across the organisation. Build and maintain performance dashboards in Power BI for Sales Managers, Directors, and Executive Committee. Ensure full alignment between KPIs, incentives, and strategic objectives. Monitor performance trends and proactively identify risks and opportunities. Translate business strategy into measurable performance metrics.
- Product & Proposition Launch Support: Lead performance modelling and tracking for new product and proposition launches. Design incentive mechanisms to support successful rollouts. Monitor adoption and performance impact post-launch. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure commercial success.
- Reporting & Business Intelligence: Oversee development and optimisation of Power BI dashboards. Ensure high standards of data accuracy, documentation, and governance. Translate complex datasets into clear business recommendations. Improve automation of reporting processes and eliminate manual inefficiencies.
- Stakeholder Management & Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales Directors and senior leadership. Present performance insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Challenge business assumptions using data-backed analysis. Lead and develop the Sales Performance team (Analysts).
- Continuous Improvement: Identify structural inefficiencies in sales processes and propose improvements. Model business scenarios to support strategic decisions. Continuously refine commission logic, KPI definitions, and reporting frameworks.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience in Strategy, Consulting, Sales Performance, Commercial Analytics, BI, Finance, or similar analytical-commercial role.
- Ability to manage high-stakes financial calculations with zero-error tolerance.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Advanced Power BI expertise (DAX, Power Query, data modelling).
- Exceptional attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly analytical with strong business intuition.
- Experience working with automation tools.
- Background in sales-led environments.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms (nice to have).
