Facilities Officer Newcastle, NE12 8BU Full Time Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum Working hours: 40 hours per week Holidays: 21 days holidays (increases to 23 days after 12 months’ service) + bank holidays. Role Summary: The selected candidate will be in charge of coordinating the daily needs of facilities to provide exceptional service and business support in order to contribute to the continued growth and success of the Business. The selected candidate will report directly to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for coordinating the daily needs of facilities around the UK. When required, this candidate will also need to be able to travel around the UK to inspect Verisure branches, to identify risks and opportunities towards standardization of our portfolio. Job Description: Ensure documentation is maintained and readily available using CAFM systems. Manage CAFM system as key user including PPM records, reactive and reporting. Actively identify/implement innovation across the estate to enhance performance and continue to meet business expectations. Plan and arrange call outs, maintenance visits, reactive works within SLAs Attend and actively participate in monthly Contract Review meetings Familiarise with daily operations and the specific scope of the contracts e.g. which contractor covers services Coordination of BAU need for a portfolio of offices, circa 175,000 sq. ft. around the UK Planification of facilities growth for a high pace and dynamic company Ensure quality and standardization of our facilities portfolio Suppliers’ relation and evaluation Contract management at basics Person Specification: · Promote and maintain Verisure’s culture throughout. · Communicate effectively and build/maintain relationships at all levels with internal and external persons. · Answer calls and emails in a professional and timely manner. · Attend and participate in any relevant training courses. · Attend regular role specific meetings to share best practice. Finance: · Raise Purchase Requisitions when required (PR) · Goods receipt (GR) relevant purchase order when services or goods have been received. · Review quotes ensuring cost is within agreed rates with supplier. · Complete invoice cost code splits for grouped invoices such as waste service line.
