We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Customer Portal team and play a key role in designing, building, and scaling modern customer-facing applications.
In this hands-on technical leadership role, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Vue. js, Nuxt, Type Script, Azure, and AI-assisted development tools to deliver innovative solutions used by customers worldwide.
You'll influence architecture, drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and help accelerate delivery through modern engineering practices and AI-powered workflows.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver complex features across customer-facing web applications and supporting services.
- Lead technical delivery of key initiatives from concept through production deployment.
- Drive architectural decisions that improve scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
- Champion the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices, leveraging tools such as Git Hub Copilot and agentic workflows throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Break business requirements into clear technical solutions, estimates, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and design reviews to promote high-quality engineering standards and knowledge sharing.
- Define and improve best practices for testing, observability, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Investigate production issues and drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, reliability, and performance requirements.

- Extensive commercial experience in software engineering and application development.
- Expert-level proficiency in Type Script.
- Strong experience building modern web applications with Vue. js and Nuxt.
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, high-performing software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern deployment approaches.
- Strong understanding of secure software development principles and application security.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and influencing engineering direction.
- Experience mentoring and supporting engineers within agile teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve software delivery, quality, and productivity.
