The Sr. Product Manager is part of the Engagement Data Management and Financial Compliance Recording product management team and is responsible for leading the product strategy, product roadmap, and feature requirements. This role will focus on software technology which integrates and collects data from digital and voice communication platforms, making it available for business insights, customer experience, and risk and compliance use cases. The solution incorporates AI technology, including speech to text, and large language models (LLM) to analyse this data both in real-time and near real-time. The target user community is across all industries and environments, with an emphasis on customer service operations as well as heavily regulated organisations.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Identifying market opportunities.
- Defining and managing the definition of product vision and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Converting the vision to a product roadmap.
- Writing specifications, prioritising features, building consensus and coordinating product schedules.
- Working closely with highly technical managers and engineering teams to fulfil the product backlog using Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Creating and leading others for mock-ups, wireframes or POCs.
- Gathering and incorporating product feedback into subsequent product releases.
- Creating formal product documentation such as feature sheets and user guides.
- Partnering with marketing and sales enablement to create sales collateral and training that reinforces offering positioning and messaging.
- Working with sales in customer engagements pre and post-sale including challenging and high stakes situations.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other business-related degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience in product management or product engineering.
- Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks across team boundaries and/or geographically dispersed teams while managing multiple priorities and parallel projects.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing complex software products or services to market, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Strong content creation and presentation skills, with experience presenting to internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience managing and mentoring product teams.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry, with a focus on contact center or financial services software solutions.
- Experience within banking, capital markets or other heavily regulated industries.
- Experience managing big data technology product roadmaps.
- Experience with VoIP technology that is used in telephony and unified communication platforms.
- Experience with AI and the use of LLMs.
