Work independently to deliver a high level of care. Ensure that the client’s needs are fully met and report and report to the relevant manager of any changes · Preparing and serving meals, drinks and snacks · Assisting the client with personal care like bathing, grooming and getting dressed · Assist with toileting, including the changing of pads if required · Client -specific care like moving and repositioning, changing a catheter bag · Administering oral and topical medication · Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry · Support the client in avoiding social isolation, like outings, social visits · Providing mental and emotional support · Make recommendations for improving the care and support of the service user · Follow the clients care plan and other information in the delivery of care · Document the care you provide · Report any concerns or incidents to the relevant manager · Lead by example, and be professional, polite and reasonable always · Maintain professional relationships with family, friends and other individuals within the client’s circle of support · Collaborate with colleagues and other health and social care professionals to provide the best possible care · Attend all meetings as required, including supervisions, appraisals and team meetings · Maintain training, achieve the relevant qualification and seek opportunities for personal and professional growth · Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role · Knowledge of the staff handbook, Code of Conduct for Health & Social Care Workers, the regulatory framework that governs the company, and CQC requirements · Use company systems and applications relevant to the role · All other duties and tasks as directed Contact our friendly Recruitment Team today
