We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician, competent at soldering, crimping and general wiring skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform soldering, crimping, and general wiring tasks for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and downhole electronics equipment.
- Conduct inspections and identify workmanship issues in downhole electronics equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects related to oil and gas operations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings specific to the oil and gas industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and general wiring techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines specific to oil and gas operations.
- Experience working with downhole electronics equipment and processes.
