Verifymy is a rapidly growing Trust & Safety tech business dedicated to safeguarding children and society online. We provide frictionless, trustworthy Age Assurance and Content Moderation solutions to help platforms maintain their integrity, protect their reputation, and safeguard their customers. We have had considerable commercial success already, with marquee clients such as eBay and Google and strong recurring revenues. Following recent investment, we have some exciting product developments on the roadmap and are looking to scale rapidly through 2026.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Lead Product Manager to drive the product vision and roadmap for our content moderation and detection platform. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative computer vision solutions that detect, classify, and validate digital content, work closely with engineering and ML teams to advance our AI capabilities, and shape the future of digital content safety whilst ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements including the Online Safety Act.

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years in a senior role
  • Proven track record of delivering successful B2B SaaS products
  • Experience with content moderation, trust & safety, computer vision, piracy prevention products preferred
  • Strong understanding of API-first product development and platform integrations
  • Experience working with content creators, digital platforms, or safety technology
  • Solid technical background with ability to work effectively with engineering and ML teams
  • Understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, and cloud-based content processing pipelines
  • Experience with data analytics and observability tools for monitoring model performance
  • Ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts and content safety challenges for non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with product analytics tools and metrics-driven decision making
  • Proficiency with data analysis, statistical interpretation, and A/B testing methodologies
  • Experience with compliance frameworks including Online Safety Act, NCA/NCMEC reporting requirements
  • Background in trust & safety, content policy, or digital forensics
  • Previous experience at content platforms, social media companies, or safety technology providers
  • Knowledge of content moderation standards, hash databases (PhotoDNA, PDQ), and CSAM detection technologies
  • Experience with synthetic media detection, deepfake identification, or digital watermarking

What You'll Work On:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the Verifymy content moderation platform
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis in the trust & safety and content moderation space
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with business objectives
  • Drive product positioning and go-to-market strategies for new detection capabilities and moderation features
  • Monitor emerging threats and content safety trends to inform product direction
  • Lead cross‐functional product teams across engineering and data science
  • Define detailed product requirements and user stories for content detection, classification, and moderation workflows
  • Prioritise feature development based on platform safety needs, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility
  • Manage product backlogs and sprint planning in collaboration with engineering and ML teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of high‐quality product releases with rigorous testing for accuracy and bias
  • Engage directly with clients and their technical and trust & safety teams to understand moderation challenges
  • Analyse content pipeline metrics, detection accuracy, and moderation efficiency to identify improvements
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to gather feedback from platforms and creators
  • Champion user experience improvements for both content reviewers and platform administrators
  • Monitor industry trends in content moderation, CSAM detection, synthetic media, and AI‐generated content risks
  • Define and track key product metrics including detection accuracy, false positive/negative rates, and moderation throughput
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimise content classification models
  • Analyse content funnel metrics, review efficiency, and appeal resolution rates
  • Use data insights to inform model training priorities and feature development
  • Monitor model performance across different content types and demographics to detect bias

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure product development aligns with regulatory requirements (Online Safety Act, GDPR, UK GDPR, CSAM regulations)
  • Collaborate with legal, trust & safety, and compliance teams on content policy enforcement
  • Stay current with evolving online safety regulations, content moderation standards, and industry best practices
  • Balance automated detection with human review requirements
  • Implement robust content forensics and audit trails for regulatory reporting
