We are currently looking for a First Article Inspector for a 6 month contract based in Brockworth, Gloucester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of propeller assemblies and components using precision measurement tools.
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Previous experience in FAIR review / sign-off
  • Working knowledge of AS9102 Specification
  • Relative commodity experience (mechanical is priority)
  • Inspection techniques
  • Reading drawings
  • Writing Root Cause and Corrective Action Request
  • Understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001 and AS9102 Standards

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports in accordance with AS9102 FAI documentation.
  • Ensure proper traceability of materials and components.
  • Identify, document
