We’re looking for an experienced Development Engineer to join our aerospace team and support key qualification and development testing activities. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams to develop customer requirements into test definitions and formal Qualification Test Procedures, and deliver clear, actionable results that support programme success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with internal teams to develop customer requirements into test definitions and formal Qualification Test Procedures.
  • Proficient user of general MS Office applications.
  • Generation of test equipment definitions to support Qualification Test activities.
  • Setting up tests and mounting units in test rigs.
  • Performing Qualification testing where required, monitoring and recording appropriate data throughout.
  • Supporting generation and issue of Qualification/Development documentation.
  • Participation in meetings and workshops internally for purpose of liaising with internal team on task allocation, communicating customer requirements, communication of project test status against plan and findings, output or help needed on project test issues.
  • Performing Function/Acceptance tests of Development units.
  • Adherence to mandated EH&S policies.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards.

  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and interpret complex test data.
  • Use of Diadem desired.
  • Logical approach to solving problems.
  • Ability to deliver and present results through clear written and oral communication.
  • A proactive, logical approach to engineering challenges.
