FAI Engineer We are recruiting for an experienced FAI Engineer to work onsite at our Customer’s site in Banbury. This role falls inside IR35 and will require the use of an Umbrella Company. Location: Banbury Hours: 37-40 hours per week Duration: 4 -5 months Pay rate: £35.00 p/h Activity and primary duties to be delivered: Work with internal departments to prepare First Article Inspection Reports Review FAIs in line with customer and drawing requirements to ensure completeness, working with the relevant departments to resolve any gaps. Document issues to identify any trends and OFIs Specific products / commodity details: Composite Pipes and Isolators, Transmission Shafts and Structural Aircraft Tie Rods and Struts Ideal skills, experience and qualifications to perform this activity: A proven Aerospace background A track record of preparing, reviewing and validating FAIRs to AS9102 requirements. A Competent, good communicator and self-driven. Experienced in generating FAIs and competent with the Discus and Net Inspect & VisiFAIR, it would also be advantageous to be able to USE SAP and Solumina Manufacturing Execution System. Specific Standards or Specification applicable: AS9100 and AS9102
