Our Customer is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a 12 month contract role.

Start date: ASAP

Pay rate: £35 p/h

Location: Cheltenham

Manufacturing engineer with an electrical background that has experience in performing and completing complex FAIs on multi-level assemblies. The products that will be subject to this package of work are families of electro-mechanical panels that provide power distribution across a range of different aircraft (both Civil and Military platforms).

Experience required:

  • Performing FAIs in accordance with AS9102 on complex multi-level assemblies
  • Background in Electrical/harness manufacturing
  • Ability to navigate complex multi-level BOMs and associated engineering drawings
  • Experience in creating and updating SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing
  • Technical background ideally in aerospace/automotive/medical
  • Strong communication and ability to self-prioritise and plan own workload in accordance with business needs
  • Ability to work with shop floor/operations and drive RCCA identified during verification/FAI process via formal corrective actions
  • Experience on business systems such as QMS tools, PDM (windchill), Oracle etc. is preferred
  • Awareness of customer/industry requirement flow downs and how that may impact drawing sets or FAI scope
