We are currently looking for a Data Controller on site in Prestwick to support the data migration process for implementation of a new PLM by reviewing, cleansing, and migrating data packages. The post holder will ensure data accuracy and consistency with existing records, reporting any discrepancies for resolution to the appropriate staff. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:-
- Review existing data in current PLM.
- Identify discrepancies, omissions, or errors.
- Carry out data cleansing following established procedures.
- Report any data issues to Prestwick Aerospace staff for resolution with the PLM Implementation Project team.
- Support data migration activities.
- Maintain accurate records of data packages reviewed, cleansed and migrated.
- Support the PLM Implementation Project team.
- Follow structured workflows and documentation standards.
- Support continuous improvement of data handling processes.
Qualifications:-
- Experience in an office or data-handling environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow structured processes and escalate issues appropriately.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Outlook).
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks with guidance
- Ability to learn and use new software.
Previous experience in working with XML files or PLM software is desirable but not essential.
