We are currently seeking an immediately available experienced Aerospace Auditor to support an internal audit on behalf of our customer at their site in Wolverhampton, England. This is foreseen to be a 4-day on-site audit, plus necessary reporting and follow-up.
Job Description:
- Prepare and perform Quality System Audit in accordance with the requirements of AS/EN9100.
- Evaluate the site's systems and processes for compliance, as well as confirmation that they are embedded and in full use across the site.
- Collect objective evidence to assess compliance and effectiveness.
- Based on objective evidence, deliver critical information for determining risk and identifying any non-conformances and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare a detailed audit report in line with the customer's defined standards and checklist.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a quality critical manufacturing industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in auditing.
- Excellent knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management Systems, supported by formal auditor training/certification (e.g. RAB, ASQ, IRCA etc.).
- A background in product and process auditing, with a hands-on 'walk-the-process' methodology.
- Detail oriented and strong communicator, both written and verbal.
