Aerospace Forgings Inspector in Redditch

Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM\’s

Contract duration: 3-6 months

Pay rate: £29p/h (Inside IR35)

Location: Redditch

Frequency:

• Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.

Our Aeropsace customer is seeking skilled individuals to support visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings efforts at their facility.

Job Description:

• Visual inspection with some Forgings requiring manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.
• Daily inspection of Forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
• Further orientation will be performed onsite.

Skill Requirements:

• At least 3 years\’ experience using dimensional inspection equipment
• Hands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
• Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawings
• Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes
• Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
• Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls Royce and some Defence Platforms.
• Must be UK Citizen
