Reporting To: Engineering Manager
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using .NET Core and front‑end components with React, under guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and the architecture team to implement technical direction and best practices for a greenfield project.
- Use GitHub Copilot as part of daily development, learning to leverage AI for coding speed, quality, and problem‑solving.
- Support Azure DevOps practices, including pull requests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist in designing and maintaining MongoDB schemas and queries.
- Support integration work with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other APIs.
- Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, ensuring AI‑assisted outputs meet quality and security standards.
Essential Criteria (Must‑Haves)
- Good understanding of C# and the .NET framework (including .NET Core / .NET 6+).
- Front‑end fundamentals: some experience or strong interest in building modern web applications using React (or similar).
- Eagerness to learn from senior engineers and collaborate across teams.
- Interest or early experience using GitHub Copilot (or similar AI tools) and enthusiasm to adopt AI‑assisted development practices.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume them.
- Basic knowledge of databases, ideally with some exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of an agile team.
Desirable Criteria (Nice‑to‑Haves)
- Awareness or experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
