What that means day to day:
- First point of contact for day to day queries and support to managers and employees
- Work closely with line managers to guide them through processes, ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance with employment law and company policies
- Build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and become a trusted partner
- Support the application and understanding of family friendly policies, flexible working and wellbeing initiatives
- Managing absence with line managers, including occupational health reporting and adjustments
- Support employee relations – absence management, performance issues, and other sensitive cases
What you’ll need to be successful:
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in a generalist HR or employee relations role, with excellent communication skills and the ability to think logically and calmly under pressure. You’ll demonstrate strong attention to detail, high levels of integrity and discretion, and a proactive, results-driven approach to your work. CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification is desirable.
