As a Business Development Executive in CHAS, you’ll be at the forefront of driving new business growth. This purely new business sales role involves identifying, engaging, and converting prospects into new CHAS clients across outbound calling, email, social media, and web meetings. You will deliver consultative sales conversations to uncover needs and position CHAS compliance and accreditation solutions as the clear choice.
What that means day to day:
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through proactive outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, web demos).
- Own and manage your sales pipeline from lead qualification through to close, with a sharp focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Conduct engaging discovery calls to uncover customer needs and position tailored CHAS solutions to support compliance, accreditation, and risk management goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new clients for delivery and account management.
- Develop deep product knowledge across the CHAS and wider Alcumus solution suite to identify cross‑selling opportunities where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline data in the CRM system.
- Continuously improve sales skills, product knowledge, and industry understanding to enhance performance.
- Maintain and expand a healthy, qualified database of potential customers using the CRM, keeping data cleansed and actionable.
- Represent CHAS at key industry events and trade shows to generate new leads and build relationships.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Proven success in B2B outbound sales, ideally in SaaS, compliance, or professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets in a new business environment.
- Strong consultative selling skills with ability to run full sales cycle — discovery, pitching, objection handling, and closing.
- CRM proficiency—ideally Salesforce or similar—with strong attention to detail recording sales activity and data.
- Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, resilient and tenacious in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Collaborative mindset to work with sales peers, marketing, and onboarding teams to deliver client success.
Benefits:
- Pension scheme with employer contributions
- Enhanced Parental Leave
- Generous annual leave
- Healthcare Plan
- Annual Giving Day – extra day to give back
- Cycle‑to‑work Scheme
- Life Assurance – 3× base salary
- Rewards Program – discounts and cashback
