What's Exciting About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager– Hardware.

I n this role you willbepivotal in translating Verifone’s global hardware strategy into strong regional commercial performance.

Sitting at the intersection of Global Hardware Product, Regional Product, Sales, and Customer Success, this role ensures that EMEA markets receive the right solutions, at the right time, with the right positioning

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Hardware Strategy & Catalogue Ownership
  • Ownand manage the EMEA hardware product catalogue —maintainingaccuracy across device models, configurations, lifecycle status, and regional availability
  • Global Regional Hardware Liaison
  • Champion EMEA's voice in global hardware strategy — feedingmarketinsights into the roadmapthat reflect field intelligence, customer requirements, and competitivedynamics, briefingstakeholders on updates, and sharing pipeline visibility to keep cross-functional teams aligned.

Regulatory & Payment-Scheme Compliance

  • Own EMEA'sregionalcertification roadmap (PCI PTS, EMVCo,). Pre-Production & Sample Management
  • Control and distribute pre-production hardware samples within the region, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage NPI (New Product Introduction) readiness activities within the region — ensuring internal teams are prepared ahead of commercial availability.

  • Hardware Lifecycle & EOL Management
  • Own EOS/EOL planning for EMEA
  • Own the EMEA hardware demo/evaluation programme (deviceconfiguration, refresh, field enablement), support RFPs with technical positioning, and represent Verifoneas the hardware SME in customer QBRs, pilot evaluations, and partner engagementswith the credibility ofa subject matter expert
  • Partner Enablement
  • Support theenablement of ISV&Acquirerchannelsand serve as the point of contact for strategic partner reviews and roadmap briefings.
  • Maintaincurrentcompetitive hardware positioning for Sales and Productteams, andmonitor market signals toidentifyportfolioenhancements.

  • Define andmaintainthe regional hardware scorecard — catalogue accuracy, certification cycle time, NPI readiness, time-to-market on new SKUs, and field reliability KPIs.
  • Deliver a regular hardware operating review to EMEA Product, Sales, and CS leadership; surface risks, dependencies, and decisions needed from the global team.
  • Define andmaintainthe EMEA hardware scorecard (certification NPI readiness,), anddeliver regular operating reviews to Product&Salesleadership.
  • Required Skills and Experience we desire
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related technical role within the payments or fintech industry; Senior PM level or equivalent.
  • Hands-onexpertisein card-present payment environments — POS hardware, payment terminals, EMV certification, processes.
  • Direct familiarity with payment terminal hardware ecosystems; experience with Verifone or a competing hardware vendor strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a product catalogue or portfolio across SKU lifecycle, pricing coordination, and regional availability.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — able to drive outcomes across Product, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and CS without direct authority.
  • Customer-facing credibility: comfortable presenting hardware roadmaps and product positions to enterprise customers, partners, and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills; able to produce clear regional POVs, competitive briefs, and executive-level summaries.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Deep familiarity with Verifone's hardware portfolio () and software platform (Payment Applications, Gateways).
  • Experience withcertification processes for payment devices, including modem qualification and network sunset planning.
  • Background in pre-production hardware evaluation, sample management, or New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Sales teams with technical RFP responses, demo programmes, and hardware-level competitive positioning.
  • Prior experience working within a global product organisation with regional go-to-market responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Android-based payment device platforms, including PSDK, MPo C/Soft POS, or PCI PTS certification processes.
