The Operations & Supply Chain Finance Manager plays a central role in driving financial performance across manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and inventory operations. This position partners closely with operations leaders to provide financial insight, strengthen cost discipline, and support strategic decision‑making across the end‑to‑end supply chain.
The ideal candidate blends strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of operational processes, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for operations and supply chain functions.
- Analyze cost drivers, variances, and operational KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop financial models to support scenario planning, capacity decisions, and investment cases.
- Cost Management & Performance Improvement
- Own cost‑of‑goods‑sold (COGS) analysis, including material, labor, overhead, and logistics costs.
- Partner with procurement and operations teams to track savings initiatives and validate benefits.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Finance
- Oversee inventory valuation, ageing, and working capital performance.
- Support S&OP processes with financial insights on demand, supply, and capacity.
- Evaluate make‑versus‑buy decisions, supplier negotiations, and contract structures.
- Act as the primary finance partner to operations, manufacturing, and supply chain leadership.
- Present financial insights to senior management, translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational execution.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational financials.
- Strengthen internal controls across supply chain processes.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and policy adherence.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA) preferred. Proven experience in operations finance, supply chain finance, manufacturing finance, or FP&A. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly. Experience in a fast‑moving, data‑driven environment.
