We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Sr. Director of Global Benefits to lead the design, governance, and execution of employee benefits programs across more than 40 countries. With 3,700 employees spanning EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and North America, this role is pivotal in delivering a globally consistent yet locally relevant benefits experience that supports our values of equity, well‑being, and inclusion. You will collaborate with regional HR leaders, finance, legal, and external vendors to ensure our benefits programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our global people strategy. This is a hybrid role that will be based out of London, England or Bucharest, Romania.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global benefits strategy that balances consistency with local customization.
  • Lead annual benefits planning, budgeting, and benchmarking across all regions.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to health, retirement, leave, and wellness programs.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for benefits in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM; North America experience is a plus.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including statutory benefits and tax implications.
  • Monitor trends and legislative changes to proactively adjust programs.
  • Manage global broker relationships and local third‑party administrators.
  • Oversee renewals, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure high‑quality service delivery and employee experience.
  • Establish governance frameworks for benefits policies and approvals.
  • Develop clear, engaging communications to educate employees on their benefits.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align benefits with broader total rewards strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a Benefits Analyst.
  • Foster a collaborative, data‑driven, and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in global benefits, with deep expertise in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
  • Proven success designing and scaling benefits programs in multinational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of international benefits regulations, compliance, and market practices.
  • Experience managing vendors and brokers across multiple geographies.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CEBS, GPHR) preferred.
