As Head Of Product you will be a strategic leader and will own and shape the vision, roadmap, and performance of Verifile’s full product portfolio. You’ll drive customer value, commercial growth, and operational efficiency by bringing together product design, delivery, and go-to-market strategy into one clear direction. With a strong understanding of market needs and customer experience, you’ll define portfolio strategy, prioritise investment, and lead product innovation. You’ll ensure every product decision supports Verifile’s mission: championing truth and delivering excellence.
About the role:
- Lead and shape the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and commercial outcomes.
- Build and manage a robust product lifecycle from concept to launch and continuous improvement, driving accountability and measurable results.
- Stay ahead of market, customer, and technology trends, identifying opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and growth.
- Champion a customer‑centric approach by engaging with users, interpreting feedback and data, and improving experience, value, and adoption.
- Develop and empower a high‑performing product team, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Act as a product ambassador internally and externally, influencing stakeholders, elevating Verifile’s market presence, and guiding strategic decisions.
The must haves:
- Demonstrated experience leading a product function or senior product team in a fast‑paced tech or service‑led environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, able to turn customer insight and business goals into clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Proven leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to build, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams.
- Hands‑on experience managing products through the full lifecycle: discovery, design, launch, and continuous iteration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence decisions and align teams around a shared vision.
The nice to haves:
- Experience in background screening, compliance services, HR tech, or SaaS environments.
- Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, market insight, and product profitability management.
- Familiarity with agile delivery and using analytics and user feedback to guide prioritisation and iteration.
- Understanding of emerging technologies (AI, automation, data analytics) and how they can shape product innovation.
- Experience using customer journey mapping or service design to enhance user experience and inform strategy.
- Relevant qualifications in product or business management (e.g., MBA, Agile Product Owner, Pragmatic Product Management).
