Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Product Designer. In this role, you will shape the end-to-end user experience across our product suite, owning product design from discovery through delivery with a focus on interaction design, workflow optimisation, and simplifying complex operational challenges. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and customers, you will create products, workflows, interactions, and interfaces that drive customer delight, value creation, and business outcomes. You will be involved throughout the product development lifecycle, from understanding customer needs and exploring solutions to designing, prototyping, testing, and delivering high-quality experiences. While contributing to our design system, your primary focus will be simplifying workflows, delivering exceptional product experiences, and partnering with cross-functional teams to bring valuable solutions to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product design across core workflows, from discovery to launch.
- Design delightful and intuitive workflows, interactions, and experiences that simplify complex operational processes.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate and validate solutions.
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand needs, uncover pain points, and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Use research, customer feedback, analytics, and business outcomes to improve experiences over time.
- Contribute to Verifi’s design system and help strengthen design practices across the organisation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or related fields, with experience operating at a senior level and owning end-to-end product delivery.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing production B2B SaaS applications and complex workflows from concept through production with proven customer impacts.
- Deep expertise in interaction design, including user flows, state management, information architecture, and task-oriented workflows.
- Proven ability to simplify complex operational, technical, or data-heavy experiences into intuitive user interfaces.
- Strong visual design skills with a high bar for usability, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready designs using Figma.
- Experience using customer research, usability testing, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Experience leveraging generative AI to accelerate the design and research process.
- Experience contributing to or working within a design system, including reusable components, patterns, and documentation.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, collaborating directly with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and transform loosely defined problems into structured, actionable solutions.
- Bonus: Experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial technology, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or built world industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interactions, Design, Art or a related field, and practical experience.
