THE OPPORTUNITY
Veriff is building the foundational trust layer of the internet, empowering people to safely and privately prove they are who they say they are.
Our identity verification platform powers onboarding and authentication for some of the world's largest marketplaces, fintechs, and platforms.
Biometric Authentication is our second-largest product, and it's how we move customers from one-time identity checks to continuous, lifecycle-long trust.
Biometric Authentication turns every verified user into an ongoing, secure relationship: silent re-verification, step-up authentication, and fraud prevention at the moments that matter.
The product runs in production at enterprise scale, with real cost, conversion, and latency consequences for major customers.
As this product has grown into a multi-product area, we're hiring a Senior PM to take primary ownership of
Biometric
Authentication: driving customer research, competitive roadmap strategy, and pricing, in close partnership with machine learning, engineering, design, sales, and GTM.
In this role, you'll be expected to operate autonomously with low management overhead, default to cross-functional collaboration, and are comfortable experimenting and shipping fast.
You'll bring enough context and judgement to make commercial trade-offs without waiting for direction.
You'll be at your best in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and on distributed, international teams.
This is a role for a PM who treats adoption, conversion, and revenue as their own problem, not one who manages a feature backlog and waits for commercial direction.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by
- Own the product end-to-end. Take primary ownership of Biometric Authentication: strategy, roadmap, and execution — across a cross-functional squad of ML, engineering, and design.
- Own a commercial metric.
Pick up a revenue, adoption, or conversion metric, diagnose the gap, and design the customer research and process changes to close it alongside sales and GTM.
- Make decisions at scale. Reason about trade-offs in cost, conversion, and latency against live enterprise contracts, in real production conditions, on a regular basis.
- Run a tight customer-feedback loop. Turn enterprise customer feedback into a prioritized, defensible roadmap.
- Own competitive positioning and pricing. Track the biometric and identity landscape and shape packaging and pricing grounded in real unit economics.
- Operate with high agency. Get to independent operation within ~60 days and start clearing the highest-impact work early.
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have
- A technical background and fluent with technical systems: distributed transactional systems, machine learning, operational metrics, COGS, and SDK delivery. (Ability to program is a plus; you won't be building ML models but you should be able to do query, debug and do root cause analysis independently)
- Experience thriving in a scale-up: high ambiguity, fast pace, and challenging environments.
- Strong understanding of B2B2C user experience: fluency in the end-user experience inside a business product.
- ~5+ years of product management experience.
- Experience in fintech or marketplace products.
- Background in authentication, security, or identity.
- Ability to program is a plus; you won't be building ML models but you should be able to do query, debug and do root cause analysis independently)
- Previous Software Engineering / Data Science development experience
