We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our EMEA Account Management Team. In this role, you will manage a mixed portfolio including some of our most strategic Financial Services and FinTech enterprise customers across the region. You will be the primary point of contact for your customers and will work with them on all stages of integration, from scaling, driving adoption, product expansion, and account management. You will be responsible for working directly with key stakeholders ranging from developers to executives to ensure that clients get the most out of Veriff. Acting as a strategic partner and compliance advisor, your role is to ensure these highly regulated clients realise maximum value from our identity verification solutions, cementing your position as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Leadership: Managing and growing a portfolio of Financial Services and FinTech clients in EMEA, acting as their primary commercial and strategic point of contact.
- Compliance & Regulatory Advisory: Partnering with clients to understand their specific regulatory challenges (e.g., UK KYC, AMLD6, PSD2) and demonstrating how Veriff’s solutions support their compliance frameworks.
- Driving Growth & Retention: Proactively identifying opportunities for cross‑selling and up‑selling new products that address evolving financial crime risks and regulatory changes.
- Cross‑Functional Orchestration: Serving as the bridge between your clients and Veriff’s internal teams—including Legal, Compliance, Product, and Solutions Engineering—to ensure our product roadmap aligns with the needs of the financial sector.
- Operational Excellence: Leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with C‑level executives (CRO, CCO, CTO), using data‑driven insights to showcase ROI, pass rates, and fraud prevention impact.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success within the B2B SaaS, FinTech, or RegTech industries.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of the EMEA financial regulatory landscape (KYC, AML, GDPR) and the specific needs of banking and payments clients.
- Enterprise Experience: Proven track record of managing high‑value, complex accounts with multi‑stakeholder decision‑making processes (including Risk, Compliance, and Procurement teams).
- Commercial Mindset: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed retention and growth quotas (Net Dollar Retention) in a competitive market.
- Methodical Approach: Experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g., SPICED, MEDDIC, Challenger) and a data‑driven approach to account planning.
- Data Driven Approach: Previous experience adopting analytical tools and ability to drive performance assessments that are data driven.
- Team Selling: Previous experience partnering with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Customer Support, and Product Teams to drive adoption and ensure a closed feedback loop between Veriff Product team and our customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a global scaleup/startup.
- Previous AM experience within the IDV/IDVaaS industry.
