About Veridox:
Veridox is an AI-powered fraud detection platform built for insurers, TPAs, investigators, and law firms. We combine forensic document analysis with contextual intelligence to catch fraud in real time. On day one of launching, we detected ÂŁ50k in fraudulent claims within seconds for a $3bn insurer.
Backed by a significant pre-seed round, we’re now expanding our core engineering team. This role will be instrumental in crafting the user-facing layer of our platform — turning deep intelligence into clear, usable, and investigator-friendly tools.
The Role:
We’re hiring a React-first engineer with 6+ years’ experience to lead frontend development at Veridox. You’ll be responsible for translating complex fraud insights into usable, trustworthy interfaces. This isn’t a full-stack role, we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes React and UX, with strong instincts for user-centric design, responsiveness, and clean architecture.
This is a fully remote role with flexible hours and founding-team-level equity on offer for the right candidate.
Working Hours:
We offer a flexible full-time schedule designed to support focus and autonomy. While most of your time is self-managed, we hold a daily 15-minute standup at 9:30am (UK time), and you may be asked to join occasional pre-scheduled team or client meetings. Outside of that, you’re trusted to manage your hours in a way that delivers results.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the frontend architecture using React (TypeScript preferred)
- Build intuitive, investigator-friendly interfaces for fraud review
- Implement robust, modular components with clean state management
- Work closely with the CEO and CTO to shape UI/UX direction
- Translate risk scores, document analysis, and fraud flags into explainable views
- Collaborate with the backend and API teams to streamline integration
- Optimise performance for large document renders and multi-tenant use
- Support design iterations through feedback from live trial users
What We Offer:
£65k–£75k salary (depending on experience)
Founding-team equity, meaningful ownership in a fast-growing AI platform
Fully remote, work from anywhere in the UK
Flexible hours, core time is minimal, with a daily 9:30am standup and some scheduled meetings
25 days holiday + bank holidays, but we don’t keep track. We trust you to take what you need
Autonomy and trust, be treated like an adult
Awesome people looking to build cool stuff together
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- 6+ years of hands-on React experience (strong preference for TypeScript)
- Deep fluency with component design, state management, and API integration
- A solid understanding of UX principles and responsive design
- Experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g. MUI, Chakra)
- Clear architectural thinking. You know how to scale a frontend cleanly
- Ability to work in fast-moving, early-stage environments
Preferred:
- Familiarity with document viewers, annotation tools, or PDF rendering
- Experience visualising data insights (charts, scores, audit trails)
- Exposure to accessibility best practices and performance optimisation
- Interest in the legal/insurance tech space or investigative tooling
Interested?
If you’re excited by clean design, complex problem-solving, and turning fraud signals into intuitive tools, we’d love to meet you.
