Our Mission: Vericor Capital (Veritas = Truth, Cor = Heart) is a traditional UK search fund backed by 14 international investors. We aim to acquire and grow one exceptional UK business while preserving its legacy and creating long-term value.
What We’re Looking For: Ambitious, curious, and analytical individuals exploring careers in entrepreneurship, search funds, or investing. You’ll join a small cohort and work directly on the live search.
What You’ll Experience (hands-on, forming views): This is not a passive search fund, therefore, not a passive internship — you’ll work on real search fund activities and contribute to an active acquisition process.
- Deal Sourcing: map sectors, identify targets, and contribute to real outreach efforts to business owners (yes, including cold calling!)
- Investment Thinking: support thesis development, market research, and early-stage deal evaluation
- Financial Analysis: analyze company performance and form a view — should we buy this business?
- Market Exposure: gain a front-row view into UK SMEs and how deals actually get done
- Mentorship: direct, regular feedback from Allie, present your work and sharpen delivery
Key Details: We value resourceful, high-agency individuals who are comfortable forming opinions. Paid internship (minimum wage). Flexible alongside studies. Remote, with optional access to our London office. Past interns have gone on to roles in private equity, hedge funds, and founding their own businesses.
