About the Role
As a Technical Platform Manager, you’ll own and evolve the platforms used across Verian, ensuring they’re well-designed, integrated, secure, and effectively used. You’ll advise colleagues on best practice, support solution design, and help articulate our technical capabilities in proposals.
What You’ll Do
- Own and develop expertise across our data platforms
- Improve platform usage and performance
- Define and manage consistent, maintainable integration patterns
- Collaborate with engineers to design & deliver integrations
- Ensure security, compliance and best practices
- Support roadmap planning and continuous improvement
- Act as the main point of contact for platform vendors
- Coordinate technical troubleshooting, release planning, and incident management
- Support proposals with clear technical input
What You’ll Bring
- Strong background in platform, systems or engineering role ideally in a research or consultancy environment
- Experience with API‑driven integrations, data flows, platform configuration, and technical troubleshooting
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business‑aligned solutions
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience working in complex, multi-team environments
Nice to have:
- Experience with Qualtrics or similar data/survey platforms
- Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, or similar
- Understanding of security and data protection
