About the Role

As a Technical Platform Manager, you’ll own and evolve the platforms used across Verian, ensuring they’re well-designed, integrated, secure, and effectively used. You’ll advise colleagues on best practice, support solution design, and help articulate our technical capabilities in proposals.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and develop expertise across our data platforms
  • Improve platform usage and performance
  • Define and manage consistent, maintainable integration patterns
  • Collaborate with engineers to design & deliver integrations
  • Ensure security, compliance and best practices
  • Support roadmap planning and continuous improvement
  • Act as the main point of contact for platform vendors
  • Coordinate technical troubleshooting, release planning, and incident management
  • Support proposals with clear technical input

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong background in platform, systems or engineering role ideally in a research or consultancy environment
  • Experience with API‑driven integrations, data flows, platform configuration, and technical troubleshooting
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business‑aligned solutions
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in complex, multi-team environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Qualtrics or similar data/survey platforms
  • Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, or similar
  • Understanding of security and data protection
