Vergo is a national business with staff geographically spread across the UK and Northern Ireland. Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control, and wildlife management.
We are looking for an Escalation Manager to join our growing team, working in Northamptonshire. This role is key to reducing ongoing pest issues and driving a quality pest control service across each of our regions. With an in-depth technical knowledge in pest control, you must hold BPCA Certificated Advanced Technician in Pest Management or equivalent.
You will be making contractual QA inspections as required, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises. You will be responsible for resolving long-standing pest problems to reduce free-of-charge visits. You will take ownership of sites that have reached escalation and will be responsible for producing comprehensive reports that assess the quality of work being undertaken; creating an escalation programme to ensure property is left both pest-free and effectively proofed against any future pest ingress.
Where service quality issues are identified, you will raise this to the relevant Operations Director to ensure a plan is implemented, resulting in the expected standards being delivered to our customers. Troubleshoot problematic customer sites, identify root cause of pest ingress and provide escalation programmes to resolve issues. Provide comprehensive reports around undertaking and completion of escalation works.
Directly manage all aspects of an escalation programme to include all internal team members, liaison with subcontractors and client's βon-siteβ employees. Support indirectly and advise other operational managerial employees on how to run an escalation program. Monitor and assess the quality of work of technicians. Undertake QA visits to Vergo QA specification. Feedback quality issues to the technician and their manager. Any other ad hoc duties as required by the business.
Qualifications:
- Full valid driving licence.
- Higher level Industry Qualification (BPCA Certificated Advanced Technician / RSPH Level 3 in Pest Management).
- Certified Field Biologist or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- An understanding of the requirements for ISO-9001, ISO-14001, OHSAS-18001.
