Vergo Pest Management Ltd is currently seeking a Specialist Proofing Technician to work in the London Area. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for individuals with experience in General Maintenance, Grounds Work, Construction, Shop Fitting, or Handyman roles.
The primary responsibility is to implement protective measures within assigned sites. The annual salary ranges from £28,105.07 to £32,000, depending on experience, plus a regional allowance where applicable.
Key Responsibilities- Perform rodent proofing work.
- Install proofing for avian management, including wires, spikes, and netting.
- Conduct wildlife management by culling.
- Apply weed control methods, both chemical (herbicides) and mechanical.
- Carry out hygiene treatments, including removal of waste.
- Transport and dispose of hazardous waste safely, preventing contamination of air, land, or water sources.
- Complete job work contracts professionally, within specifications and budget.
- Attend training sessions to develop relevant skills and undertake online modular training as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Ensure a safe working environment and high hygiene standards in the workshop and stores.
- Perform any other duties as required by the business.
- Full Clean UK Driver's Licence
