Pest Control Technician – Launceston and surrounding areas
Join Vergo Pest Management Ltd as a customer-facing Pest Control Technician working in Launceston and the surrounding areas. Whether you have industry experience, are looking for a career change, or are just starting, we want to hear from you.
Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control and wildlife management. You will be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and government properties, visiting customers across your area to conduct inspections, carry out treatments and promote additional work when opportunities arise.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and treat pest infestations in commercial, residential and government properties.
- Carry out rodent, bird, insect and wildlife control treatments.
- Promote additional work and upsell services when opportunities arise.
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full UK Driver’s Licence.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Live within a 40-mile radius of the advertised area.
- Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
- Methodical and systematic approach to work.
- Comfortable using mobile phone apps.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Salary and Incentives
Up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience. All technicians can increase take-home pay by up to £6,000 through commission and incentives. Trainees start at £26,740.00, rising to £28,000.00 when qualified.
